Education & Simulation Specialist

The Education Specialist at R.E.D. provides the missing link between doing something "cool" and designing instruction that yields measurable results. They provide the rigor to all simulation-based perfusion scenarios. With a Master of Education in Learning, Design, & Technology, they have extensive experience in the best practices of education, combining this with 20+ years in the field of medical simulation gives them the experience needed to ensure the efficiency and efficacy of your training program.

 

The Education Specialist will use perfusion and simulation technologies while they work with you to create S.M.A.R.T objectives and sound assessment rubrics ensuring your learners can apply their newfound knowledge and skills to the living patient setting. During the training they will be responsible for capturing time metrics and ensuring the dynamic vitals signs and perfusion pressures match the interventions made by the medical team. Following each training scenario they will assist in the rubric-based debriefing.

The Education Specialist also fills the need for education with new technologies. They will work with engineers and medical practitioners to design instruction that accelerates the time to proficiency with new devices and techniques.
